Academic and Administration Construction Manager Seeks Assistance

SpawGlass, the construction manager in charge of Texas A&M University-San Antonio’s Academic and Administration Building project, is ready to release requests bids to help with development of the 58,000-square-foot building on the campus. The RFB will be issued on April 3, 2019, with price proposals for all bids due by 2 p.m., April 24.

The $25 million project will be south of the existing A&M Central Academic Building at One University Way, on the south side of San Antonio. The scope of the project will include 19 classrooms, an art suite, language lab suite and incubator classroom with support space for each academic function. Also planned are 20 faculty offices, a small lobby and general storage.

PBK Architects Inc. is the project architect.
