ABG Commercial Arranges $23M Sale of Boynton Yards Industrial Facility

Cambridge-based ABG Commercial has brokered the $23 million sale of the office and industrial headquarters site of moving company Gentle Giant in Boynton Yards. Bernard Gibbons of ABG represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction. The buyer was DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners.

Located at 29 Harding St., the three-acre property is comprised of administrative offices, storage space and parking lots. The site is part of the larger Boynton Yards redevelopment in Somerville, a mixed-use district comprised of lab, office, multifamily, retail and community arts space.

“With the in-migration of tech and life science tenants to the Boston and Cambridge markets exerting upward pressure on rents, Somerville and Boynton Yards are poised to be viable alternatives for companies in the knowledge industries seeking amenitized space at a more reasonable price point,” said Gibbons.
