A&M-San Antonio Ramps Up Infrastructure Plans
An enrollment boom is challenging Texas A&M University-San Antonio’s facilities capacity. In response, the school is taking action to develop some of its more than 600 available acres.
A dormitory, a dual-purpose pavilion, two modular buildings and a science and technology building are already planned for near-future use.
Over the next decade, Texas A&M University-San Antonio expects thousands of additional beds and parking spaces will be needed, as the university is expanding by roughly 1,000 students each year.
Near university land, The Verano Land Group plans to develop commercial and residential areas.
