A Top-Off in Long Island City

Construction workers just topped off another high-rise apartment building in the Long Island City neighborhood of Queens, NY.

Lightstone’s 428-apartment tower at 30-02 39th Ave. includes a “rooftop pool club”, complete with barbecue cabanas and a bocce ball court. There’s also a yoga studio, a basketball court and a greenhouse, a chef’s prep kitchen, workspaces, game rooms and a golf simulator. Lightstone calls it “the largest and most diverse amenity program in New York City.”

Lightstone is also one of the first developers to build in the “Dutch Kills” part of the neighborhood, recently rezoned to allow giant projects like this one. “We are excited to be the pioneering luxury developer in the Dutch Kills section of Long Island City,” said Lightstone president Mitchell Hochberg.
