91 Units Coming to Mueller Development

Catellus Development Corp. is gearing up to break ground on Austin Modern Lofts, a mixed-use residential and retail development in the Mueller mixed-use development in Central Austin. Catellus Development will begin construction on the 91-unit community in early 2018, with completion scheduled for 2019. The development will offer 35 single-story units and 56 townhomes, five of which will be shop houses that will include first-floor commercial space, with two stories of living space above.

Twenty-nine of the condos and townhomes will be part of Mueller’s “Ready, Set, Own” affordable homes program. Twenty-one of the units are reserved for families earning up to 80% of Austin’s median family income, with eight units reserved for families earning up to 120% of the MFI.
