Two new companies have leased office space at 247 W. 37th St., an 18-story, 214,130-square-foot office building in Midtown Manhattan’s Garment District.
The Jewish Association Serving the Aging expanded its space in the building to 39,243 square feet from 36,149 square feet. Ira Schuman and Stephan Steiner of Savills Studley acted on behalf of the tenant. “It’s gratifying to see this important nonprofit organization expand their space,” said Brian Steinwurtzel of GFP, who with Eric Gural represented the ownership in both transactions.
Additionally, technology firm Uchiha signed a lease for 5,570 square feet. Mitchell Kunikoff of Lee & Associates represented the tenant in the transaction.
