41-Story Westlake Luxury Residential Project Proposed
The Walter and Aeshea Jayasinghe Family Trust proposed The Lake on Wilshire, a 41-story, luxury high-rise apartment development in Los Angeles’ Westlake district. The mixed-use complex would include 478 studio, one and two-bedroom apartments, and 39 affordable units.
The project would also incorporate a 70,000-square-foot learning, cultural and performing arts center with an 850-seat theater. The 1.6-acre site at 1930 W. Wilshire Blvd. currently contains a parking lot and MOB.
The adjoining 14-story, 1920s era building that served as a former SoCal HQ for Crocker National Bank will be converted into a 220-key hotel.
Los Angeles-based Archeon Group’s design vision for the complex includes landscaped outdoor decks and a cultural center featuring a molded facade of colored vanceva glass. The nearly 460-foot tower would be the tallest in the Westlake area.
