3rd Hermosa Multifamily Trades in Two Months
A 24-unit mixed-use property at 4433 W. Fullerton Avenue in Chicago’s Hermosa neighborhood has traded for approximately $2.5 million. Essex Realty Group brokered the sale; seller and buyer were not disclosed.
The property contains four street-level commercial spaces and 20 apartments. The units are a mix of two and three-bedrooms, and have undergone renovations recently. The Healy Metra Station servicing the Milwaukee District North Line is located on Fullerton, a half mile east of the property.
Essex’s Jim Darrow and Jordan Gottlieb represented the seller, while the firm’s Doug Imber, Kate Varde and Clay Maxfield represented the buyer on the transaction. It’s the third apartment deal Essex has brokered in Hermosa over the past two months; 4500 Fullerton sold for about $4.3 million in February, a few days after 4421 W. Fullerton traded for $1.7 million.
