354-Unit Charlotte MF Development to Break Ground in July

Developer Northwood Ravin plans to break ground on 500 West Trade, a 354-unit multifamily development in Charlotte, NC. The planned 15-story project will include 8,500 square feet of retail space, as well as a 3,600-square-foot pedestrian courtyard.  Groundbreaking is scheduled for July.

Amenities at the community will include a rooftop lounge and outdoor kitchen, dog spa, two swimming pools and a fitness mezzanine overlooking the city, as well as a theatre room, lounge space and a game room.

Construction financing for the project is being provided by Northwestern Mutual. Northwood Ravin is serving as developer and general contractor. Once leasing begins, the company will also serve as the residential property manager. The first units are slated to open in 2021.
