230-Unit Assisted Living to Go North at Pima Center

Western States Lodging & Management and the Colmena Group of Salt Lake City will develop Legacy Village at Salt River, a $30 million, 230-unit assisted living facility within the 232-acre Pima Center business park in Scottsdale, AZ. The site is part of the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian community. Construction is scheduled to begin early next year.

The facility will offer 130 personal care units, and an additional 100 units for directed care. Approximately 30 of the units will specialize in memory care. Western States’ Cole Smith said that the location was ideal, as it is surrounded by residential neighborhoods, has good accessibility to other parts of the Phoenix area, and is near many quality healthcare amenities.

Pima Center is a 232-acre mixed use business park developed by Mainspring Capital that contains more than a million square feet of office space, and about 430,000 square feet of light industrial/flex facilities.
