14 Acres under Contract on Loop 1604

Casey Development, owner of iHeartMedia headquarters, is under contract to acquire 14 acres at Loop 1604 and Interstate 10, on San Antonio’s far northwest side. The acreage is adjacent to the 32-acre Landmark Centre master-planned community, now under development. The Guindi family of Mexico City is the seller.

It’s uncertain what the new owner will do with the property, though San Antonio’s planning commission approved a request to change the land-use designation from mixed-use center to regional center. This will help pave the way for commercial uses that would include big-box retail stores.
