13-Acre Mequon (WI) MXU Proposal Considered
Shaffer Development LLC has submitted preliminary plans for a mixed-use development in Mequon, WI (a suburb of Milwaukee), that would offer 165 multifamily units and 19,600 square feet of commercial space. Operating under the name Mequon Town Center II, the 13-acre development is about one block north of the just-completed, mixed-use Mequon Town Center that Shaffer and partner Blair Williams developed.
The preliminary concept plan involves four apartment buildings, three commercial buildings and one yet-to-be determined asset. The development will go north at a cost of $29 million to $34 million. The plan will undergo review by the town’s common council in September.
Shaffer plans to break ground on the development in spring 2017, with completion slated for a year later.
