12K-SF of Leases at 40 Exchange Place
Companies have recently signed leases for a total 12,004 square feet of office space at 40 Exchange Place, a 20-story, 300,000-square-foot office and retail building in Manhattan’s Financial District.
“We are delighted to welcome each of these tenants to 40 Exchange, where we recently executed a total renovation and upgrade,” said Brian Steinwurtzel, co-CEO of Newmark Holdings, which bought the tower in 2015 in partnership with the Northwind Group.
Their capital improvement program will be complete “very shortly,” according to management. The new office tenants include:
– Aloha, a nutrition subscription service
– Decoded Advertising, a full-service creative agency
– Stern Agency, an insurance provider
– K International Transport Co.
In addition, at the end of last year, law firm Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck signed another 14,800-square-foot lease for the entire 20th floor. The building’s website lists availabilities totaling almost 60,000 square feet.
