1.5M-SF Phase at Dallas’ Southport Logistics Park Completed
The first portion of Phase 1 of Southport Logistics Park in Dallas is now complete, encompassing two speculative buildings totaling 1.5 million square feet. The 531-acre master-planned industrial development is a joint venture between Port Logistics Realty and Diamond Realty Investments, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation.
Located within the Inland Port area, off of I-45 in Wilmer, TX, Southport Logistics Park is 12 miles from downtown Dallas. The site is near the Union Pacific Intermodal Facility and a FedEx Ground Hub.
The one building totals more than one million square feet of cross-docked space, while a second building encompasses 395,099 square feet.
The design-build team included Cadence McShane Construction Company and Ware Malcomb.
