1.4M-SF Office Campus Development Set to Begin in Chula Vista

San-Diego-based Chesnut Properties plans to commence construction on Millenia Office, a three-project campus, consisting of a 1.4 million-square-foot development in San Diego’s Chula Vista suburb. Millenia Office has the potential to grow up to three million square feet to accommodate one or several large scale offices, tech, medical and/or educational tenants.

The campuses include THINK Campus: two buildings encompassing 324,000 square feet; DISCOVER Campus: one building encompassing 400,000 square feet; and the four-building, 700,000-square foot INVENT campus, all of which are expandable to accommodate a “Google-Style” mega-scale campus. As the first to be developed, the THINK Campus will include large efficient 37,000-square-foot floorplates at a site near Highway 125.

The property features outdoor connectivity, an amenity patio space connecting the two buildings, a 6,000-square-foot amenity building with a restaurant and fitness center, and a large outdoor lawn area.

JLL’s Tony Russell, Chad Urie and Grant Schoneman are overseeing the leasing assignment.
