@properties Will Open Gold Coast Flagship Office

Two weeks after an outbreak of looting on North Michigan Avenue and elsewhere in the city sparked concern that people might lose enthusiasm for homes downtown, residential and commercial brokerage @properties is announcing plans to open a new Gold Coast office, Crain’s Chicago Business reported.

In the fall, @properties will open a 5,800-square-foot office at 900 N. Michigan Ave., in a space being vacated by Compass, Crain’s reported. The brokerage has an existing Gold Coast storefront at 906 N. State St. as well as an office in the Fulton Market District.

“We would certainly describe this new office as a flagship,” said @properties co-founder Thad Wong. “As the leader in the luxury market, it is important for us to provide our agents and clients with a first-class working and meeting space in what many would consider the nicest office building in the best location in the Gold Coast.”
