$83M Sale, Acquisition Financing for Manhattan Plaza District Dev Site
Manhattan-based Skyline Developers acquired 12-18 West 55th Street, an 8,000-square-foot development site in Manhattan’s Plaza District from a partnership between Barings and Lincoln Property Company. HFF arranged the $83 million sale and acquisition financing for the property, that is adjacent to the University Club and Peninsula Hotel.
The site sits less than 200 feet west of the famed Fifth Avenue retail corridor, and is convenient to many of the city’s most acclaimed cultural institutions.
HFF’s Andrew Scandalios, David Giancola and Geoff Goldstein marketed the property on behalf of the seller, and also procured the buyer, a New York affiliate of Garden Homes Development. Additionally, HFF worked on behalf of the new owner to secure acquisition financing.
