$7M Renovation Underway on Hard Rock Café

Hard Rock International launched a massive re-do on its San Antonio location at 111 W. Crockett St. Specifically, the three-story, $7-million renovation will include new, private rooms, audio and visual equipment, televisions, tables, chairs, and a performance stage. The job will also allow for accommodation of an additional 100 people.

The restaurant, which opened at the location in 1995, will remain operational during the renovations, which are expected to be completed in late November. HardRock is part of a 47,000-square-foot complex known as South Bank, which is near the RiverWalk. The owner is real estate investment trust AmREIT, headquartered in South Carolina.
