$55M for the Royalton Hotel
Highgate and Rockpoint Group paid $55 million for the Royalton Hotel in Midtown Manhattan.
The 168-key Royalton is an iconic, full-service boutique hotel located in the heart of town at 44 W. 44th St., only a few minutes walk from Times Square, Grand Central Station and Rockefeller Center.
The buyers received $36.4 million in acquisition financing from Deutsche Bank, secured by JLL, which also represented the seller, FelCor Lodging Trust, in the transaction.
