$53M Hilton Extended Stay Planned for Honolulu Airport
Seattle-based Hadley Properties has submitted its application for development of a $53-million, 15-story extended stay hotel at the company’s Airport Industrial Park. The project will deliver Hilton Worldwide’s first Homewood Suites-branded extended-stay hotel to Hawaii, next to the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu.
Located on the corner of Aloele and Paiea streets, across the street from the new consolidated rental car facility under construction at the airport, the hotel is planned for 257 suites and a 2021 opening date.
According to a report from Pacific Business News, there are currently only three hotels within a mile of the Honolulu airport — the Airport Honolulu Hotel, which is managed by Outrigger Hospitality, the Best Western and the Plaza Hotel.
Hilton currently has 11 hotels on Oahu, including two Embassy Suites hotels in Waikiki and in Kapolei.
