$250M Financing for Mountain View Office, Hotel MXU Development
Palo Alto, CA-based Broadreach Capital Partners, LLC secured $250 million in financing for the development of Ameswell Mountain View, a fully-entitled, mixed-use project in Mountain View, CA. The project, off Highway 101 and Moffett Boulevard, will include a 255-room upscale, independent hotel and a 216,700-square-foot Class A, LEED-Platinum office building.
HFF’s Bruce Ganong, Michael Leggett, Ben Bullock, Thomas Foley, Austin White and Bercut Smith worked on behalf of the developer to arrange a joint venture equity partnership with Rockwood Capital, LLC. Additionally, HFF worked on behalf of the parties to secure the $140 million construction financing with Wells Fargo Bank.
The hotel will feature 6,258 square feet of meeting and event space, food and beverage offerings, outdoor gathering spaces with a swimming pool, fire pits, bocce ball court and a large lawn. The steel-frame, five-story LEED-Platinum creative office building will have floor-to-ceiling glass lines that provide natural light, 14-foot ceilings and 47,000-square-foot floorplates.
