Howard Hughes Corp. Breaks Ground on 472-Unit MF Property in Columbia

Dallas-based developer The Howard Hughes Corp. has broken ground on Marlow, a 472-unit multifamily community in downtown Columbia, MD.’s Merriweather District.

The seven-story apartment property is slated to span 510,000 square feet and will include 32,000 square feet of retail space as well as 14,000 square feet of amenity space. Planned amenities will include a fitness center, golf simulator and a dog park. The property will also have a work-from-home lounge outfitted with private conference rooms. Additional amenities will include patios, a courtyard, pools, lawn areas and private alcoves as well as an 800-square-foot rooftop sky lounge.

Initial occupancy is slated to begin in the fourth quarter of 2022.
