Georgetown Co. Sells Two DC Apartment Properties for $43M

The Georgetown Co. has divested from two apartment buildings in Washington D.C.’s Dupont Circle area. The sales price was a combined $43 million.

Located at 1722 19th St. NW and 1631 S St. NW, the properties total 155 units. The sale was the culmination of Georgetown’s business plan for the buildings, which also included making significant renovations since purchasing them in 2012. Georgetown plans to execute a 1031 transaction after the sale.

The buyer of the properties was not disclosed.
