Cawley JV to Develop Headquarters for First United Mortgage

Cawley Partners, First United Bank and the Haggard family has formed a joint venture to develop The Parkwood, a 120,000-square-foot office project in Plano. The Parkwood will be the future headquarters of First United Mortgage, for which First United Bank has pre-leased half the space.

“The Parkwood development is an extremely attractive building, offering brand new office space in a clean atmosphere, not to mention its proximity to area restaurants, retail, and entertainment,” said Bill Cawley, chairman and CEO of Cawley Partners.

Kristi Waddell of Cawley is handling preleasing at the property, with the entire fourth floor and parts of the first and third floors available for lease. The project is expected to break ground this coming September and deliver in the fourth quarter of 2021.
