166K-SF Bent Tree Tower II Marks First Buy for Hudson Peters Portfolio

Hudson Peters Commercial’s (HPC) recently formed capital division made its first acquisition, buying the 166,000-square-foot Bent Tree Tower II from Regent Properties. The buyer was a previous tenant, and will manage the property at 16479 Dallas Pkwy. in Addison, TX.

Creighton Stark and Chris L. Boyd with Colliers International negotiated the deal between buyer and seller. “There was a lot of interest in this offering and an overwhelming demand for the tower because it was institutionally owned and maintained,” Stark said.

During its hold, Regent Properties invested $4.7 million in the building, which included a remodel of the property’s entrance, an update of the building’s lobby and common areas, the addition of a large monument sign and modernization of the building’s systems. Forney Corp. is the anchor tenant.

“This is a quality asset to begin building our portfolio of properties,” said Michelle Hudson with HPC.
