Simone Development Cos. won approval for its redevelopment plan from Town of Huntington officials for two buildings at 5 Cuba Hill Rd. in Greenland, NY. Once renovated, the 95,000-square-foot space will be ready for tenant Mount Sinai Doctors Long Island. The healthcare provider will combine three of its current locations in Huntington into a large, state of the art multi-specialty practice.

Simone bought its property from defense contractor BAE Systems in late 2016. The entire property includes four buildings, totaling 200,000 square feet on 18 acres. First Niagara Bank (now KeyBank) provided financing to Simone for the acquisition and redevelopment.
