RISE and Origin Investments have formed a joint venture to develop a $79.5 million multifamily in Sun City, FL.

RISE, Origin Investments Form JV to Build $80M Multifamily in Wimauma

Jacksonville, FL-based RISE and Origin Investments have formed a joint venture to develop Horizon at Sereno, a $79.5 million, Class A multifamily in the Tampa submarket of Sun City, FL.

The new market rate development, which Origin’s fifth overall FL investment and RISE’s sixth community in FL, will feature 320 units in seven buildings and be comprised of a mix of flat-over-flat as well as traditional one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments.

Horizon at Sereno is located on a 17-acre site at the front edge of DG Farms, a 1,384-acre master planned community that features office, retail and more than 3,000 residential units. The site is one of the last undeveloped parcels in the DG Farms community.

The project marks the second joint venture partnership development between Origin and RISE; in October 2021 the companies announced plans for the development of Linden House, a $60.1 million, 295-unit development in Jacksonville.
