Neiman Marcus Offers Knickerbocker New Year’s Eve as Fantasy Gift
Here’s one Christmas gift that you won’t be able to find on Amazon Prime: as part of Neiman Marcus’ “Christmas Book” of Fantasy Gifts, the department store is offering to arrange a private New Year’s Eve party for 300 on the roof of The Knickerbocker Hotel, 150 feet from the Time Square ball.
The price tag for this Fantasy Gift? $1.6 million.
“We are excited to offer unprecedented access to one discerning merrymaker and their nearest and dearest for a once-in-a-lifetime New Year’s Eve,” said Holly Breuche, vice president of operations at The Knickerbocker, which is owned by RLJ Lodging Trust and managed by Highgate.
The Knickerbocker gift is one of eight “Fantasy Gifts” offered by Neiman Marcus for Christmas 2017. The other gifts are similarly extravagant — including a specially commissioned Rolls Royce coupe, and a chance to collaborate on designing a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry with jeweler Stephen Webster.
With the purchase of The Knickerbocker New Year’s Eve experience, Neiman Marcus will also donate $80,000 to The Heart of Neiman Marcus Foundation.
