Hillwood Adds Industrial Just North of Foxconn Campus

Hillwood acquired a recently constructed, 307,850-square-foot industrial property in Mt. Pleasant, WI for an undisclosed sum. Located just north of the forthcoming Foxconn campus, the facility at 11905 Meridian Dr. is within the Kenosha/Racine submarket of the Chicago region.

“This submarket is appealing to a wide range of tenants looking for access to a large highly-skilled work force and a diverse customer base,” said SVP Don Schoenheider, Hillwood’s market leader for the Midwest. The Kenosha/Racine submarket is about 60 miles north of Chicago and 20 miles south of Milwaukee.

11905 Meridian Drive’s flexible design can accommodate single or multi-tenant occupancy. The property features 32-foot clear heights, rear-load design, 140-foot truck courts, T-5 lighting and ESFR fire protection.

A Perot company, Hillwood owns four other properties within the Chicago region, including Grandview Business Park in Yorkville, WI, not far from the newly-acquired Mt. Pleasant facility.
