First Medical Apparel Pop-Up Shop Comes to L.A.’s Melrose Place

National  + Healthcare  |

Although professionals in the medical field tend to wear scrubs more than any other article of clothing, they’ve never before had a place to shop for scrubs in the same way they can shop for regular clothes….until now. FIGS, a startup that’s disrupting the $60-billion industry with fashionable scrubs, has its first pop-up shop on Melrose Place in Los Angeles.

From October through November, FIGS is taking over an 1,800-square-foot storefront with a fresh design, embroidery workshop, full line of men’s and women’s scrubs, tote bags, loungewear, compression socks, and even dynamic video integration to make for a fun experience. Combined with that, they’re offering a speak series, Sunday Coffee in-store service, and an embroidery workshop to cater to the community.

FIGS VP of Brand Jenny Seyfried says, “Through experiences like the pop-up and billboard campaigns, we’re letting our customers know that we’re not slowing down when it comes to reinventing the medical apparel industry.”
