Elk Grove Facility Suits Distribution Needs of Idaho-Based Tenant

Entre Commercial Realty represented JC Watson Packing Co. in finding a new location in Elk Grove Village, IL, located in the heart of the O’Hare industrial submarket.

Headquartered in southwest Idaho, JC Watson focuses on packing, selling, and the distribution of onions. The new 68,021-square-foot location is rail served and will function as a cross-dock facility solely for the distribution of onions.

Finding a rail served facility in the heart of Chicagoland was a key requirement for JC Watson, since it allows the company to have full autonomy across its supply chain. This improves efficiency and economics and protects proprietary processes. The Elk Grove location will allow the company to expand its footprint in the Midwest and distribution channels to the East Coast.

Entre’s Sam Deihs represented J.C. Watson Packing Company, and Hamilton Partners represented the property’s ownership.
