Colliers’ Jim Carris: North Branch is “Great Growth Opportunity” (Video)
The rezoning of the North Branch Industrial Corridor is poised to bring significant new development to Chicago over the next 15 years, in the view of Colliers International’s Jim Carris. “Overall, it’s going to be great growth opportunity for the city,” says Carris, executive managing director and market leader.
In part one of Connect Media’s exclusive video interview with Carris, he charts the implications of the rezoning, and also discusses the ramifications for suburban office landlords of corporate headquarters relocations to downtown Chicago. Although McDonald’s move from suburban Oakbrook made headlines, the reality is more nuanced, as Carris discusses.
