AECOM-Canyon JV Teams with Tucker on Lincolnwood MXU
AECOM-Canyon Partners, a joint venture between AECOM Capital and Canyon Partners, teamed with Chicago-based Tucker Development to develop a mixed-use project on the site of the long-demolished Purple Hotel at 4500 W. Touhy Ave. in Lincolnwood, IL.
To be called District 1860, the project will consist of 299 mid-rise multifamily units, an Amazon Fresh grocery store and more than 40,000 leasable square-footage of additional retail and restaurant space.
The JV simultaneously closed on a senior construction loan from Pacific Western Bank and construction is now underway. The retail space is 65% pre-leased, including the Amazon Fresh.
Richard H. Tuckerat TuckerDevelopmentsaid, “We are excited to partner with AECOM-Canyon on this dynamic & transformative project. We’d like to thank the Village of Lincolnwood and Mayor Jesal Patel for their strong & unwavering support of District 1860.”
The project is expected to be completed during 2023.
