New 77 acre mixed use project on way to Celina

77-Acre Mixed-Use Project to Join New Costco in Celina

Celina will be the location for a new, ambitious mixed-use project. The project on the 77-acre parcel will be called The Crossing at Moore Farm. The Dallas Business Journal reports the development will include a 110,000-square-foot luxury fitness center, Lowe’s, Chick-fil-a, Chipotle and Panda Express, among other retail options, in addition to 750 residential units. The site is anchored by a newly-opened Costco.

The Seitz Group is developing the project. Mycon will be general contractor for the development, while Kimley-Horn has been tapped as civil engineer. Site work is slated to start in April 2023, and the retail portion is expected to be completed by October 2024. Construction for the residential real estate units is expected to kick off in fall 2024.

The apartments will have amenities including a fitness and cycling center, ghost kitchen, multimedia room, library, smoking room, bocce ball court, dog parks, hiking trail, and extensive green space.
