After Several Years in the Making, Redmond Mixed Use is Underway

Construction is underway at Porch + Park, a six-story mixed-use building in downtown Redmond. The building is slated to open in winter 2022.

MainStreet Property Group LLC and GenCap Construction Corp. are behind the development of the project. An affiliate of The Carlyle Group is the project finance partner.

Located at 16001 Redmond Way directly across from the new flagship Downtown Park and within a short walking distance from the future downtown Redmond link light rail station, the building features 106 apartment homes and 9,525 square feet of street-level retail/restaurant space.

“Setting the vision for this building has been a few years in the making and we are pleased with the results so far," says Kelly Price, president of MainStreet Property Group. "We’ve created a tangible connection to the city’s new Central Park – in many ways similar to how front porches create connections within the community.”
