Chinese investor Sunrise 8300 Investment LLC acquired Arizona’s largest Tesla facility. The 41,000-square-foot property at 8300 E. Raintree Dr. in Scottsdale, AZ, sold for close to $14 million.
Michael Kitlica, Chuck Klein, Eric Wichterman and Michael Coover with Cushman & Wakefield represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction. According to public records, the previous owner/seller was listed as 8300 E. Raintree LLC, traced to Glasir Capital Partners LLC.
Tesla Motor Corp. signed a 10-year, triple-net lease for the two-building property, which is situated in the Scottsdale Airpark. The tenant relocated and opened its service-center operations at the Raintree Drive location in September 2019. “Tesla selected this facility for its unique zoning, recognizable address and irreplaceable location to service the greater Scottsdale/Phoenix area,” Kitlica said. “This facility represents the largest investment Tesla has ever made in the state of Arizona.”
