Women in Real Estate 2019: Meridian Capital’s Nicoletta Pagnotta is a Leader in Co-ops and Condos

Nicoletta Pagnotta joined Meridian Capital Group in 2004 and currently serves as an SVP, specializing in underlying cooperative and condominium property financing. She began her real estate career as an underwriter and analyst and now oversees a team of originators and underwriters that also focuses on co-op and condo properties.

A longstanding and accomplished commercial real estate advisor, Pagnotta has personally negotiated more than $6.5 billion in financing over the course of her career. She and her team have represented numerous co-ops that define the New York skyline, including the Dakota, San Remo, Majestic, Lincoln Towers, Windsor Oaks, Windsor Park and Bay Terrace Cooperative.

These are just a couple of the reasons we chose Pagnotta as one of the 2019 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.

Her leadership skills have also benefited from becoming a parent to her now 3-year-old daughter. As a full-time wife and mother with a demanding career, she learned quickly that you need to be able to make smart, critical decisions and delegate responsibilities in order to be effective in either role.

Pagnotta’s desire to surround herself with the smartest and most reliable team of individuals who all bring something different to the table and collectively contribute to the success of the team also speaks to her leadership style.
