Lee NYC Hosts Blood Drive in Midtown South

Lee & Associates NYC recently partnered with the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and New York Blood Center to host The Herald Square Community Blood Drive at the Lee NYC-owned Greeley Square Building in Midtown South.

Heeding REBNY’s call for space for a blood drive, Lee NYC donated the retail space at 875 Sixth Ave., formerly home to a GNC store, for the April 26 event.

“We’re proud to partner with REBNY and the New York Blood Center for this worthy cause, and thrilled we were able to provide a space that is easily accessible for New Yorkers, and well-equipped for the social distancing and safety measures needed for this operation,” said Lee NYC managing principal Peter Braus.

REBNY’s Kathleen Nolan said, “Due to the pandemic, there’s been a chronic blood supply shortage and we are grateful that Lee NYC has donated a space at Greeley Square Building.”
