Avison Team Markets Fort Greene Development Opportunity

Avison Young’s Tri-State Investment Sales Group   has been named exclusive sales agent for 62-68 Hanson Pl., a 53,405-square-foot mixed-use building on an extended lot with an additional 63,895 square feet of unused air rights, in Brooklyn’s Fort Greene neighborhood. The 13-story building will be delivered vacant. 

James Nelson, head of Tri-State Investment Sales, is marketing the property along with associate directors Frederick Richter and Eric Karmitz, and senior associate Alexandra Marolda. An asking price wasn’t disclosed.

“The Fort Greene neighborhood is in high demand and 62 Hanson Pl. offers numerous advantages for buyers, including close proximity to Atlantic Terminal servicing all major subway lines as well as major routes connecting the five boroughs and the tristate area,” said Nelson. “This is a tremendous opportunity.”
