Women in Real Estate 2020: Janelle Moody of RL Edward Partners is Building a Better Community

Janelle Moody serves as Senior Project Manager at RL Edward Partners, effectively using her multi-faceted skills and diversified experience in the industry to help shape her city. Moody’s unparalleled organization, management, and technical knowledge has provided design and management of Chicago’s most recognizable and vital buildings.

She plays a central lead on the Willis Tower Repositioning project, working in tandem with EQ Office to manage the 460,000-square-foot transformation of the tower into an urban neighborhood destination, and workplace of the future. Moody’s career is boasting of prestigious projects such as this, including the Lycee Francais de Chicago, Back of the Yards High School and Public Library.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Moody as one of the 2020 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.

Moody makes it a point to be a resource for others – such as colleagues and students, as well as her clients. She serves as a mentor to women and the next generation of leaders in the industry, speaking on design panels at IIT and Northwestern University. Additionally, she volunteers at Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago, an organization that helps residents by repairing homes in the community.
