Women in Real Estate 2020: Marcus & Millichap’s Debra Franklin Recognized for Work Ethic and Integrity

Debra Franklin has built a career in commercial real estate for nearly 30 years, during which time she has assembled a diverse multi-state team of talented agents focused in the restaurant space and branded as the Restaurant Real Estate Specialist Team of Marcus & Millichap. The team includes representation covering the entire Southeast region to include boots on the ground agents in South Florida, Nashville, Charlotte and Charleston with plans for expansion.

Beyond being a seasoned veteran of the restaurant industry with unique understanding of the business, Debra’s work ethic is exemplary. Her integrity and mission to go above and beyond to add value to all her clients, as well as her vested interest in helping her partners succeed, make Debra stand out as a true leader among her colleagues and throughout the commercial real estate industry.

Franklin was the first female agent to earn a private office in Miami. Her presence has created a consciousness within the firm to recruit and train more female talent into an industry that is lacking the presence of senior-level women.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Franklin as one of the 2020 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
