Women in Real Estate 2020: SRS’ Carol Joyner Has Done it All in Retail Real Estate

Carol Joyner joined SRS in the Atlanta office in 2018 with more than 25 years of retail leasing experience, having worked on the brokerage, retailer, and landlord sides of the industry. Joyner’s tenant representation experience with SRS includes specialty retail brands, fitness concepts, entertainment concepts, beauty brands, as well as food and beverage.

As a part of SRS’ Signature Group, Joyner focuses on high end, digitally native, established, and emerging brands, as well as upscale entertainment flagship and chef-driven restaurants.

As a retailer, Joyner has held national leadership positions with Gap Inc., and Teavana. As vice president with Gap Inc., she oversaw one-third of the U.S. and three regional offices, and was responsible for the execution of development plans for the Banana Republic, Gap and Old Navy brands. While with Teavana as vice president of real estate, she oversaw leasing and construction growth nationally and internationally, including Canada and the Middle East.

Joyner is a member of ICSC, where she holds the CRX and SCLS designations. She also volunteers with Jack and Jill of America Inc., an organization of mothers with children ages 2 – 19, dedicated to nurturing future African American leaders.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Joyner as one of the 2020 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
