2020 Next Generation Honoree: Coldwell Banker Commercial’s Faraz Cheema is Strong and Supportive Leader in D.C.

With more than seven years of experience as a financial analyst, Faraz Cheema has worked specifically within the retail and hospitality sectors in the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore metropolitan area focusing on acquisitions, disposition, asset management, and property management.

Utilizing his skill sets from both the investment and broker perspectives, Cheema is well equipped to meet his clients’ commercial real estate needs. He is also an ICSC Associate member, and a candidate member for IREM Certified Property Manager.

Currently, Cheema manages a team of 10 commercial professionals. He is the principal for over 500,000 square feet of retail space, 800 keys of hospitality, and roughly 100 Multifamily units. Cheema has also built a referral network with over 30 residential offices. Cheema has been recognized by his peers for his propensity to eat, sleep, and breath commercial real estate. He also gives back to his community through the CB Cares initiatives as well as mentoring others. Cheema is seen by peers as a leader that is supportive and instructive.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Cheema to be one of the D.C. region’s 2020 Next Generation Award Winners. Connect Media’s fourth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
