2020 Next Generation Honoree: Berkadia’s Mackinley Robinson Finds ‘Golden Balance’
Mackinley Robinson is a director of Berkadia’s Seattle Mortgage Banking office. He provides debt and equity financing for all property types to facilitate acquisitions, refinances, and recapitalizations across the United States.
Robinson has found a home in the commercial real estate industry and brings an uncanny knack of connecting with clients and prospects. His quick wittedness and strong understanding of financial concepts impart confidence on the people he works with.
And the industry role in which Robinson has landed provides the golden balance of using talents and skills in math with a natural ability to communicate and make people feel comfortable. That may involve complete a focus on creating the most complex financing models possible or nurturing client relationships.
Robinson represents capital partners Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, Life Companies, CMBS, and private capital including debt funds. Throughout his career, he’s worked on the closing of more than $500 million in loans for clients. That includes placing capital for multifamily, office, retail, industrial, affordable housing, and a number of other property types.
An active member of NAIOP, Robinson serves as a co-chair of the DL Committee, and represents the Pacific Northwest region on a National Forum. He holds a bachelor’s degree, Magna Cum Laude, in finance from Western Washington University, and a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate from the University of Washington.
These are just some of the reasons we chose Robinson as one of the Seattle 2020 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s fourth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
