RD Management and partner Big Rock Partners Holding, LLC plan to develop two senior housing projects totaling $184 million in Orlando. The developments include the 320-unit Villages of Windsor in Lake Worth, and the 239-unit Windsor at Celebration in the Orlando area (pictured).
“We are seeing a high demand for senior living and retirement communities across the nation, with the senior population expected to double by 2060,” said RD Management’s Richard Birdoff.
The Villages of Windsor project includes 186 independent units, 80 assisted living units and 54 memory care units. Atria Senior Living will operate the Villages of Windsor project, which is expected to open in October 2017.
Windsor at Celebration encompasses 151 independent living units, 55 assisted living and 33 memory care units. Life Care Services will operate the facility, which is expected to open in March 2018.
