Lawyers in Real Estate 2020: Moore & Associates’ K. Teya Moore

K. Teya Moore has developed a formidable career throughout the years through his tireless work ethic and determination to go above and beyond expectations. Moore not only serves as Managing Partner of Moore & Associates, but he also additionally serves as Principal Broker of Benjamin & Banks Real Estate, LLC.

He has accrued significant experience as well as refined his skillset, making him adept at asset-based or secured and unsecured financing techniques, project financing, asset dispositions, asset recovery, and legal counsel. Moore has managed the inclusion of Kaiser Permanente after the acquisition of Fairwood Green, Bowie, MD for 42M, as well as the acquisition of a multimillion-dollar industrial and office facility. His clients include Maryland Energy Administration and Office of the Attorney General, State of Maryland, Barclays Business Credit, Inc., Bank of New York, and Wells Fargo Bank. For Wells Fargo Bank, he facilitated an $11 million refinance of CRE in Annapolis.

Moore applies his skillset to other community service endeavors as well, having served two terms on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of EBDI, and was enlisted to help manage a community and economic development fund for the invaluable service of reinvesting in local businesses.

It’s for these reasons that we named K. Teya Moore, to our inaugural grouping of Lawyers in Real Estate. These are real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in both their practice and the larger community.
