Rocketmiles Expands for Second Time in West Loop

Tech tenant Rocketmiles expanded its presence at 641 W. Lake St. in the West Loop, adding 7,181 square feet to its existing footprint. The expansion, arranged by Colliers International | Chicago’s Corby Marx and Chris Freeman, brings Rocketmiles’ total square footage at 641 W. Lake to 17,665 square feet.

“Rocketmiles enjoys the unique character of the building and its convenient access to public transportation as well as the popular Fulton Market neighborhood,” said Marx, a SVP with Colliers | Chicago.

In late 2015, Rocketmiles moved into a 5,700-square-foot space at 641 W. Lake and two years later expanded its footprint. During negotiations for the latest expansion, the 110,707-square-foot office property was sold by R2 Companies and Walton Street Capital to Chicago-based Heitman as part of a $65-million, three-building portfolio.

“Both R2 and Heitman remained great partners throughout the process,” Marx said.

Connect Industrial Midwest is coming to Rosemont, IL on March 4. For more information, or to register, click here.
