Planning and Design Veteran Joins Stantec Team

Todd Meyer has joined design and engineering firm Stantec’s Urban Places practice. He’s based in Stantec’s Chicago offices at the historic Railway Exchange Building, 224 S. Michigan Ave.

The 25-year planning and design veteran has worked around the world with public and private sector clients on a wide variety of projects. In this capacity, he leads planning and design teams in creating development strategies and the successful implementation of projects.

Meyer is currently part of the design and project management team for Phase 1 of the Red and Purple Modernization Program with the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), for which Stanctec is the design lead.

As the largest capital improvement project in CTA history, the program will completely rebuild the nearly century-old North Red Line from Belmont to Howard, and the Purple Line from Belmont to Linden in Wilmette.
