MGO Adds Supervisor to Chicago Team

Professional services firm MGO LLP (MGO) has added Kevin O’Brien as supervisor and core team member of its new Chicago office. The Chicago-based team, led by directors Sarah McGuire and Barbara Webb, is spearheading the firm’s Midwest expansion.

“Our ‘type A-typical’ approach drives us to form teams representing a diversity of professional expertise,” said Webb. “The depth of Kevin’s experience developing a range of technical solutions in tax advisory increases our options for offering value-added services to our clients.”

O’Brien serves a national client base and will manage a number of tax advisory engagements, providing guidance on federal, state and local tax issues for MGO clients ranging from start-ups to publicly traded corporations.

Together with Webb, he will deliver tax solutions for clients in a variety of industries including financial services, banking, consumer lending, insurance brokerage, private equity, broker/dealers and cannabis.
