Greenstone Lists Historic Germania Club in Gold Coast

Greenstone Partners is marketing the historic Germania Club in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago. Danny Spitz and Jason St. John, managing partners at Greenstone, will be exclusively representing R2 in the sale

The fully occupied 46,000-square-foot landmark trophy property is now the home to the latest digital art exhibit concept, Immersive Van Gogh, which was sold out through the summer before opening day in February. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Germania Place was built in 1888 and was designated a Chicago landmark in 2011.

“It is a once-a-decade opportunity to acquire a trophy historic property in the Gold Coast,” said Spitz. “The Germania Club is a Chicago staple and a centerpiece in the neighborhood.”
